One-year Renewable Contract

The College of Religious Studies (CRS), Mahidol University invites applications for a one-year renewable contract position in Religious Studies at the level of lecturer beginning July 2017.

Applicants should have a PhD in Religious Studies (the academic/scientific study of religion); scholars in related humanities and social sciences may apply as long as their dissertation and current research directly address religion. Completed PhD required. Preference will be given to applicants working on modern and/or contemporary issues. The ideal candidate will teach and conduct research in one or more of the CRS undergraduate and graduate programs: Buddhist Studies, Religious Studies, and Religion in Southeast Asia. The selected candidate will teach (medium of instruction is English), conduct research and handle normal administrative duties.

Review of applications will begin immediately with a submission deadline of 30 April 2017. Ideal starting date of 1 July 2017. Applications should be submitted by e-mail.
